In<br \/>\nthis context, a full survey of reliability theories has been carried out and consequently, a<br \/>\ncomputer program has been developed to calculate the reliability of any system, based<br \/>\non back history.<\/p>\n<p>The proposed computer program is divided in to two versions, the first deals with the<br \/>\nreliability calculation of any system connected in parallel and\/ or series, whereas the<br \/>\nsecond version is a direct implementation of the program on wind turbines.<\/p>\n<p>The attained results have share good agreement in the previous predictions and it is<br \/>\nexpected that the use of the program can help either in optimizing the wind turbine<br \/>\nmaintenance and selection or in ensuring high availability and reliability of wind farms.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thesis Title Reliability of wind turbine selection for a certain site &nbsp; Awarding University and Year \u00a0faculty of Engineering-Cairo University-2015 &nbsp; Abstract The present work is an endeavor towards evaluating the reliability of wind turbine.
