Abstract
| Investigation of off-design performance characteristics of turbines. To achieve that:
· Mathematical model which makes possible description of operation of impulse turbine stages groups with low degree of reaction was constructed. · The computer program which makes possible simulation of operation of the stages groups was constructed. · Validation of the model was performed. · For investigating the performance characteristics of impulse turbine stages groups, impulse stage which is manufactured in Poland. · General formula of the flow capacity of turbine stages groups, taking into account the change of rotational speed and the change of pressure ration has been obtained. Empirical formulas of efficiency of the investigated stages groups have been obtained. |
