Local and International Department Activities
1. Applications for mechanical engineering in all practical and scientific fields.
2. Energy research and development, whether traditional or new and renewable (wind energy, solar energy and other underground energy)
3. Aerospace engineering and its various applications in all fields.
4. Engineering of conventional and composite materials and their various technological properties and fields of applications in multiple industries.
5. Developing various industrial technologies and their versatile important applications on real ground to develop engineering industries.
6. Design and implementation of several projects in new and renewable energy, biogas, mechanical construction, multiple measurements of pumps and fluid machines at the local and international levels, and participation in the local and international center plan.
7. Training and rehabilitation of a large number of engineers and industrialists on the applications of mechanical engineering in all industrial and engineering fields and their various applications, through the NRC's training center and in external industrial units.
8. Collaboration with other divisions inside and outside the Division in the fields of desalination, biogas and applications
9. Modern technology in various industries requiring mechanical engineering and its various applications and in Industrial companies in the state and military production
10. Participate through assignment in many administrative and technical committees inside and outside the NRC to serve the State and develop the industry and other service areas to serve the citizens and the homeland as well as participation in international and local scientific conferences
11. Establishing and presenting computer programs that serve engineering applications in all fields such as medicine and dental industrial installations, various medical devices, fluid dynamics, pumps, turbines and others.
12. Preparing scientific and research staff through master and doctoral degrees from Egyptian and international universities to contribute to the advancement of the country and its applications in the service of the homeland.
13. Participate in teaching and training processes in all universities and institutes internally and externally to provide students with important and advanced technologies and encourage them to continue studying and to pursue scientific research for the benefit of the country.
