Prof. El-Sarha. Research Professor emeritus of Mechanical Engineering, was born on February 13, 1933. Graduated from Alexandria University in 1955, with B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. He obtained the Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics in 1965 from Birmingham University, UK.
Prof. El-Sarha held the following positions:
-Senior Research officer, NRC, 1965.
-Associate Research Professor, 1972.
-Research Professor, 1983
-President of Scientific Instruments Center, 1985.
-Research professor, Emeritus, since 1993.
Prof. El Sarha participated in several research projects such as: “The use of solar and wind energies in the development of Sinai Peninsula” and “The enumeration and evaluation of scientific instruments in scientific organizations and universities” He supervised several M.Sc. and Ph.D. theses in the field of specialization. Attended several national and international conferences and symposia in Iran, USA, Iraq, Hungary, and UK. He is the author of 34 papers published in national and international Journals and conferences. Member of several associations, societies and committees. Awarded Certificate of Ability for his achievements at ASRT, 1987.
